Cooking is an art. And most of us may have mastered this art, but when it comes to cooking—or the kitchen—we can always use some quick tips, right? So here are some tips that can definitely help while cooking.


  • Freezer Tricks
Freezing liquid in useable potions comes handy when you need only a small portion for using in recipes. One more trick is to freeze things in flat containers, this way it is easier to stack them. Not only that, the flatter and wider, you store things, the faster they'll freeze and defrost.
  • Cooking Pasta
If you enjoy a delicious pasta, then use Mozzarella or Feta liquid as the base for pasta sauce. These cheeses come in water which adds a great flavour to the pasta sauce.
  • Egg Test
Take a container filled with water and drop an egg into it. If it floats then your egg has gone stale, throw it away. The science behind this is that eggshells are porous, allowing air to slowly get in over time. As more air enters the egg, it gets lighter and lighter, and it will eventually float.
  • Grilled Cheese Sandwich
Try slathering mayonnaise on the outer sides of the bread instead of butter when making grilled cheese sandwiches. Makes a nice and crispy sandwich and tastes delicious.
